Achivements are disabled for the time being! We are working on a better achivements system and will make it available as soon as possible. All your data is still being collected so any achivement you are owed will be granted to you once we've launched the updates.

 The truth is nobody ever needs achievements as it pertains to online services, but they sure make things more fun!  It's always nice to be rewarded for doing what you were already doing. So it's in that spirit we've launched an achievement program at WiBit!  By registering at WiBit you're automatically added to the achievements program.  You can view what achievements you've earned at your account page, and you can see what other's have achieved via their user panel in the forums or via their public profile.  We hope you enjoy the novelty as much as we do!

Achievements by user group:

 When things break I did it. I am an admin! - This achievement identifies site admins.

 

 ...burning like a watchful eye...I am a moderator - This person is a form moderator

 

 Enjoy my soothing baritone. - This means the person appears in WiBit videos.  Right now this is only Kevin, Bryan, and Jason.

 

 I've been here since the first tree. I am beta - Our beloved beta testers. 

 

 

Achievements for course completion:

 My name is Forest WiBit. - This user watched every video in the Introduction to Computer Programming course.

 

 Nothing on Earth could stop the coding... - This user watched every video in the Programing in C course.

 

 A Coding Beauty - This user watched every video in the Introduction to Object Oriented Programming course.

 

 Driving Ms. Chicky - This user watched every video in the Programming in C++ course.

 

 You maniac! You blew it up! The compiler that is. - This user watched every video in the Programming in Objective-C course.

 

 I think you're going to need a bigger VM. - This user has watched every video in the Programming in Java course.

 

 

 

 W007! I watched 10 vids! - This user has watched 10 WiBit videos.

 

 Halfsies! - This user has watched half of the WiBit videos available at the time of awardment. 

 

 Completionist. I am better than you. - This user has watched every single WiBit video at the time of awardment.

 

 

Misc achievements:

 I don't know when to shut up. - This user has started more than 7 threads in the forums.

 

 I found a bug so fix it! - This user has found a bug in the site or an error in the videos and reported it for us to fix.

 

 You like me! You really like me!* - This user has earned at least 50 votes for their forum posts.

 

 My name is Legion, for we are many. - This user is our 1000th registered user, bine1!

 

 I'm not a fanboy!* - This user has purchased one of our iOS course apps

 

 We propose a toast. To you! - This user has donated to WiBit.net

 

 Boot up or shut up!* - This user has brought 10 more users to WiBit.net

Achievements are earned once the required task, as detailed here, is completed.  The 
achievement may not show up on the user's profile until their next login or page view.
