Why does this topic get so heated? Holly sh*t! I have had many passionate discussions with anti-Java people about this for years and I don’t understand their fascination with this topic. Some C++ guys say that they will never touch Java because it lacks one minor characteristic: Passing by Reference.
Am I living under a rock, or something? Does anyone hear anything positive about Visual Basic anymore? Do companies still use this language?
It is pretty well known that I am a huge anti-VB advocate, but just because I hate it doesn’t meant I wish death upon it. Because of my VB… feelings… It was hard to be completely objective when conducting this analysis. I tried very hard to not be bias, although I understand that probably sounds as ridiculous as Fox News and MSNBC being ‘Fair and Balanced.’
Welcome to the new website for WiBit.Net! Our objective is to deliver solid instructional materials in a unique, conversational video format. We follow a linear approach to build a strong foundation in the C programming language and continue through Object Oriented Programming and C++ to enhance your future growth. In addition to our current offering, we will soon add Objective-C, Java, and C# to complete our initial roster.

It hasn't been easy getting here. We've created over 20 hours of content, and put a lot of work into how we're presenting that new content. We did everything from the ground up to re-launch WiBit and we really hope you all like it.

Our legacy videos will still be available on YouTube but this new site will feature all new content, and we will be adding more regularly. To star we've got:
Our new site is coming along nicely, however a bit behind schedule. We were hoping to get out beta invites last Tuesday, however the site wasn't quite ready for them to go out.
We're working very hard to build the best quality product possible, and with that there have been delays. We're pretty close to where we want to be though so over the next few days we'll send out those beta invites. Sorry again for the delay!
