Top video games for you?

Yes, I know, a cliche forum question, but I wonder sometimes, what are your favorite games, except the ones on the LAN party.
I'll start by saying
1) Silent Hill Series
2) Resident Evil Series
3) Pretty much anything by Bethesda (Rage..eh..not so much)
4) Monkey Island Series.

I'm with you in Bethesda. I'd add anything by Bioware (Dragon Age II isn't up to their normal standard, but not due to lack of effort, they just tried something new) or Rockstar. Obisoft makes some quality games too.
My favorite modern franchises are:
- Mass Effect
- Assassins Creed
- Fallout
- Dead Space
- Dragon Age
There are more but those are my top 5 franchises of the moment. I'm very excited for Batman Arkham Asylum this week though.

I've been playing through Undead Nightmare for the first time. Its a lot harder than the main title! They definately improved the aiming to make it a challenge to get those head shots!
I'm digging the Horses of the Apocalypse too! War is a beast of a horse. I really like riding through a pack of zombies and lighting them on fire.

Yeah, all those games mentioned are pretty high on my list.
Notable mention by Bioware, the Baldur's Gate series.

I haven't been a gamer in many years, so, my list will seem very 2004ish. I ranked these based on how many hours, days, months I wasted playing them!
(1) Madden NFL
(2) Quake 2
(3) Warcraft 3
(4) Battlefield (1942, Vietnam, 2)
(5) Unreal Tournament

A thing a really liked it about Undead Nightmare is they put BigFoot, i think you say Swasquatch or some like that right?. The only detail about Undead Nightmare is very short compared with the main title, of course that is a dlc.

Yeah I shot the Big Foots. Even the last that was crying. Survival of the fitest...not survival of the whiney monsters!

Indeed.. Mass Effect is a game which i can play constantly and never tired. I have played for ps3 now i will play it in Pc.

This blog is a reminder that cheating in software development can get you into big trouble. Sometimes developers get really really lazy, OR are pressured to write something using overly simplified data structures. Almost every time this happens you are bitten in the butt! Sometimes the problems show up immediately and other times it may take months or years (especially in integrated systems).

1) Legend Of Zelda (ocarina, majora's, a link to the past, wind waker and Twilight princess)
2) Red Dead Redemption (main title and dlc undead nightmare)
3) Mass Effeect series.
4) Marios Galaxys.... (I know it has not a deep story but it has a beatiful design)
5) Resident Evil ... (Main the Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4).
